The Legends Ball

It's official! The second coming of Opulence is here, children. Come to our brand new digs at the Lotus Sound Lounge Wednesday, April 22, 2009 for an even bigger and better voguing X-travaganza! Once again hosted by the fabulous Robyn Graves, this ball will feature performances by Mother of the House of Opulence Conni Smudge, Cotton of the legendary House of Venus, Vancouver celebrities Joan-E and Amber Dawn, as well as Isolde N. Barron and Vancouver’s Next Gay Top Model participant Billy Gollner. Judges for the night will include community activists Jamie Lee Hamilton and Barb Snelgrove, Vancouver gallerist Jeffrey Boone, comedian Morgan Brayton, local MLA Spencer Herbert, theatre and television legend Denis Simpson, the always fabulous Cotton and Jason Glitter, and more local celebrities as always. DJ Coleo will keep the energy level high with his unique blend of disco, handbag house and vogue classics.
